A personal heart failure diary

Between one appointment and the next, care continues.

Novo Coração is being developed so adults can manually enter age, weight, blood pressure and heart rate, review their own history and create a quantitative report for a healthcare professional of their choice.

It does not replace professional assessment or emergency services.

The challenge

Care does not happen only inside the clinic.

Weight, blood pressure and heart rate can become scattered across papers and apps. A simple diary helps bring user-entered values into a more organized care conversation.

Every day

Simple entries build a history between appointments.

Over time

History brings together entered values without classifying risk or normality.

In the care conversation

Organized reports can support authorized sharing.

MVP scope

Core functions without exposing test data.

Prototype screenshots were removed from this page. The illustrations use only the brand; the descriptions present the intended functional scope.

Local profile

Only what is needed to begin

Age and weight entered manually, with no photo, ID document or device integration.

What the app organizes

From a daily entry to a story people can understand.

Each module aims to make entry easier while preserving the context needed to read information over time.

Signals and measurements

Age, weight, blood pressure and heart rate entered manually.

Local processing

Health entries and history remain on the device in the launch design.

History and reports

Values, units and dates organized by period without clinical interpretation.

User control

Correction, local deletion, export and sharing initiated by the person.

How it works

A simple cycle designed for real life.

Record

People enter age, weight, blood pressure and heart rate in a few steps.

Keep locally

Health entries remain on the device and are organized by period.

Generate

The quantitative report reproduces values and dates without classification.

Share

People choose whether, when and with which professional to share.

Transparency from the start

The right data, with a clear purpose.

Local storage, backups, SDKs and network traffic must still be proven in the mobile build before release.

Clinical safety & responsibility

Supportive technology with clearly stated limits.

It does not replace a professional

The app does not measure, validate or interpret values and does not recommend actions.

It is not an emergency channel

Seek immediate help in an emergency. In Brazil, call 192.

Privacy by design

The launch is designed to keep health entries on the device.

The first release will not include automatic comparison, normality/risk classification or recommendations. Any such feature will require prior validation and regulatory assessment.

Frequently asked questions

The essentials, clearly stated.

Is Novo Coração available for download?

Not yet. The app is in development. Official App Store and Google Play links will be posted here once available.

Does the app replace medical care?

No. It is intended to organize and support information, not replace assessment, diagnosis, prescription or treatment.

Does the app monitor emergencies in real time?

No. It is not an emergency channel and does not guarantee continuous monitoring. In an emergency in Brazil, seek immediate care or call 192.

How will my data be protected?

The MVP design keeps health entries on the device and sends only minimum account data to a server. This will be audited in the build before release and described in the Policy.
